چکیده

The present study was carried out for 7 days on four adult low-lander single-humped camels to know the effectof endurance load exercise physiological, biochemical, hormonal, and inflammatory cytokines at high altitude.A significant 1.5 3 fold increase observed in physiological responses, viz. respiration heart rate onthe 1st 7th day after exercise. Further, serum triglycerides levels were significantly increased exercise, whereas other biochemical parameters unaffected. However, hormones cortisol, cardiac-troponin (C-troponin), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tri-iodothyronine (T3), thyroxine, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) These physio-biochemical changes during indicated that have low are under stress altitude conditions. Thus, has brought new primary data information physiobiochemical of camel altitude. This may help identify suitable load-carrying logistics areas

Comparison of Anatomical and Blood Biochemical Parameters of Iranian Racing and Dual-Purpose Camels (Camelus dromedarius)

BACKGROUND: Animal breeds are often recognized through their specific characteristics, nevertheless, the breeds' anatomical and biochemical characteristics have not considered yet in many of the researches done on one-humped camels. There are some particular differences in camel breeds due to different climate conditions and rearing necessity. OBJECTIVES: The aim of the current study was to com...
